The Reinosa Steel Plant is a leading global manufacturer of both C.G.F. (Continuous grain flow) Monobloc Crankshafts for 4 stroke diesel (DF) engines and Built-Up Crankshafts for 2 stroke diesel engines.
Our C.G.F. (Continuous Grain Flow) crankshafts are used in marine propulsion, electrical power generation, auxiliary systems, and the nuclear sector.
We design and manufacture our own tooling for the C.G.F. forging process and collaborate closely with our customers in the development and optimization of the crankshafts.
Crankshaft manufacturing demands a high degree of practical skill and advanced technical knowledge. We have optimized manufacturing technology to develop crankshafts that are both efficient and fatigue resistant. We are an approved manufacturer of clean steels and our products meet the most demanding specifications.
Our crankshaft production process is fully integrated, forming a dedicated manufacturing line that has independent means for the C.G.F. system, heat treatments, and machining. This allows the Reinosa Steel plant to optimize planning, have greater production control, and reduced lead times.
Another key product we manufacture are the Monobloc crankshafts for compressors (like hyper-compressors or reciprocating compressors), aimed at polyethylene plants, refineries, chemical and petrochemical industry (among others).
