At the Reinosa Steel Plant, we follow a well-organized Quality Control System adapted to the needs of modern steel manufacturing. We ensure all products meet standard requirements as well as customer needs, and we guarantee to deliver on time and without defects. We operate as an extended member of our customers’ production teams, and our employees track and monitor product performance each step of the way to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance. The Reinosa Steel Plant’s controls include extensive chemical analyses, metallographic tests, measurements of geometric characteristics and mechanical tests.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): The Reinosa Steel Plant’s ASNT NDT Level II and Level III Certified Engineering Team is trained to apply international standards in both conventional and advanced testing techniques including ultrasonic (phased array systems and conventional), visual, Eddy Current, dye penetrant, and manual and automatic direct and indirect magnetic particle inspection (MPI) to evaluate the surface and internal quality of all products. The Reinosa Steel Plant inspects equipment both automatically and manually on a daily basis.

Dimensional Control: The Reinosa Steel Plant’s skilled personnel perform 2D and 3D inspections using hand tools and the latest industry technology for 3D Laser Tracking, 3D Scanning, and mechanical 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for verification and reporting.



The Reinosa steel plant has specific units for forging and casting pieces with a worldwide activity scope, providing solutions to meet the needs of sectors such as shipbuilding (both mercantile and naval) electrical power generation, cement manufacturing plants, mineral preparation plants, steel and iron industries, heavy machinery components, and many more. We manufacture machined finished forgings (up to 70 tons) and castings (up to 140 tons).
