The Reinosa Steel Plant has been a world class supplier of steel shipbuilding and offshore products since our beginning in 1918, when the plant was founded as a key part of Spain’s naval industry. For over 100 years, we have expertly provided numerous products, including shafts, brackets, rudder horns, anchors, and many more for the carriers and frigates of the most important navies worldwide.
The Reinosa Steel Plant is a trusted supplier for offshore industry needs, providing superior performance products such as mooring chains, buoys, and main castings. When Hurricane Katrina devastated the American city of New Orleans in 2005, many chains anchoring Gulf of Mexico oil platforms to the seabed broke, setting them adrift. However, the few platforms that withstood this storm had steel chains forged by the Reinosa Steel Plant. Apart from the production of parts and subassemblies up to 250 ton and 16 meters high, we also offer technical assistance design services including FEA, loads, fatigue analysis, useful life, definition of angles, and many more to meet all our customers’ industry needs
